Dalai Lama visits Chicago…
For anyone who missed it, the Dalai Lama visited Chicago and gave a public talk @ millenium park. Very funny, down to earth and relevant, the Dalai Lama gave his perspective on dealing with change in turbulent times.
His key theme was Compassion. At the end of his talk, he answered a couple of questions that had been submitted via the web….
In response to the question (and I am paraphrasing, how would he suggest responding to the threat of terrorism?) the Dalai Lama said the following: Teach children in school how to be compassionate and the skills of dialogue.
I just thought that was smart and thought I’d share. To find out more about his visit, click on his picture below!
