Why now? Why a blog?

I hope to answer with this my first blog entry! It was over a decade ago, (September 1995), that I was on my way over to work in London that I first got interested in deliberate creativity and innovation. On the plane over, I read Doug Hall’s book called Jump Start Your Brain and I was hooked! During my eight months in London, in addition to working in various marketing departments, I met a psychologist named Robert Holden who was running creativity and humor workshops in hospitals. I decided when I returned to the US later in 1996 to look up speakers who focused on creativity. That led me to attend my first creativity conference, The Humor Project, then to the Creative Problem Solving Institute and ultimately to attend graduate school at The Center for Studies In Creativity. Since graduating, I have been blessed to work with some of the finest speakers, trainers and facilitators in the fields of creativity and innovation. I am launching this blog site now because I love learning and sharing insights that help individuals maximize their innovative potential and besides, I like taking on new challenges. I invite you to check back for daily posts that draw insights from a variety of disciplines and distill it into useful interesting blurbs!!!
